Brunch With Bestie: New Year's Day

Our crew was a bit split up this year coming into the New Year. While some of us were in New York and the rest of us were on the opposite coast, that did not stop us from our traditional New Year's Day brunch. There's no better way to start the year off. Since luck is created by the prepared, I'll gladly take sweet and savory options over the traditional black-eyed peas and lentils any day!

Strawberry & Chocolate French Toast

My European roots always draw me back to crepes and croissants. I wouldn't be surprised if I opened my own French cafe one day. Until then, I guess we will continue to be repeat offenders at Le Cafe Du Sud. The whole place is a vibe and the outdoor seating was perfect for us to enjoy each other, the sun and reflect on our upcoming goals. Hope you are also walking into the new year with a renewed spirit and a refreshed mind full of new energy! Happy New Year!
